In each case the bleach is normally carried out @ 100 Degree C for approximately one hour.
2. | Application on Polyester/Cotton with Blends | The bleaching of Polyester/Cotton Blend is generally carried out bleach liquors similar to those used for 100% cotton fabrics as detailed in section 1. |
3. | Application on Polyester/Cotton with Blends | BSB Liquid can be used to obtain solid whites on bleached cotton/Polyamide blends by application from stabilized hydros at 100°C at 6-7 pH for half an hour. |
4. | Application on Polyester/Cotton Blends Application Polyamide | Although BSB Liquid is application to nylon from a slightly acidic bath at pH 5.5 at a temperature of 100° C, preferred method of application is as follows. BSB POWDER 0.5-1.2% on wt. of goods Stabilized hydros 1 – 3 gpl Temp 90-100° C Time 30 minutes |
Note:
(i) Dilute solutions must not be exposed to natural light
(ii) Do not use cationic auxiliaries
(iii) Heavy metal ions may interface with the effect of anionic Optical Brighteners. This can be avoided by adding suitable chelating agents
